Farm record-keeping app for Australia

Everything in one farm app

Storage, APVMA chemical search, spray records with withholding periods, customer contracts, paddock harvest, equipment maintenance, and farm tasks — on iPhone, Android, and the web companion at app.farmrecords.au.

One subscription, connected farm records

Many farms end up with a grain tracker in one place, a spray diary in another, and maintenance notes in a notebook. Farm Records brings storage tracking, chemical and spray records, customer contracts, paddock harvest, equipment maintenance, and tasks into one subscription — so a spray on a paddock shows on the map, stock ties to a contract, and your team sees the same numbers on phone and web.

We keep adding practical features where they fit, so you are not paying for three or four separate farm apps that do not share data.

What you can do

Module-by-module detail — each area links to the same farm organisation on iPhone, Android, and web.

Hay shed storage screen showing bale counts by bay

Grain, hay, and farm storage

Track grain in silos and bunkers, hay and straw in sheds, chemical and fertiliser stores, and custom locations. Stock in, stock out, moves between sites, and live balances. On iPhone and Android, stock movements can queue offline in low-signal paddocks.

Customer contracts screen showing open wheat contract and allocations

Customers and grain contracts

Buyer details, open grain and hay contracts, and allocations against stored product — reserved tonnage and what is still available stay visible for your marketing and delivery records.

Chemical inventory list with product balances

APVMA chemical register

Farm chemical inventory with balances by location. Search APVMA-registered products online, import to your register in a tap, and filter by herbicide, insecticide, fungicide, or adjuvant. Link products to spray records.

Paddock map showing harvest yield and chemical withholding period dates

Paddock map, harvest, and withholding periods

Draw paddock boundaries on the farm map, log harvest totals by paddock, and see active chemical withholding periods where they apply — useful spray compliance record-keeping for Australian farms.

Maintenance hub showing assets, pre-starts, and service due

Equipment and maintenance

Vehicles, plant, and implements — service history, pre-start checklists, fault logging, rego reminders, and service due dates so maintenance records sit beside the assets you use every day.

Tasks screen showing a repair job on the farm board

Farm tasks

A simple job board for the farm team — add tasks, pick up work, assign jobs, and mark complete when finished.

APVMA chemical search and spray records

When online, search the APVMA PubCRIS product catalogue — thousands of registered agricultural chemical products — and import a product into your farm register. Log spray applications against paddocks, record application details, and capture withholding period dates from label data.

Active withholding periods can appear on the paddock map so you can see restrictions at a glance. Always follow the product label — Farm Records helps you keep spray compliance records; it does not replace label instructions or professional advice.

  • iPhone and Android: Built for patchy mobile coverage. Stock in, out, and move can be recorded offline and sync when you are back online. Spray records, APVMA search, and the paddock map need a connection when you use them.
  • Web (app.farmrecords.au): Online only — all features need internet. Best for desk review, reports, and updates from a browser.

Frequently asked questions

Does Farm Records include an APVMA chemical database?
Yes. When you have a connection, search APVMA PubCRIS registered agricultural chemical products and import them into your farm chemical register. The catalogue is maintained on our server from official APVMA data and updated from time to time.
Can I use Farm Records with poor mobile coverage?
On iPhone and Android, stock in, out, and move can be queued when signal drops and sync when you are back online (an active subscription is required to sync). Spray records, APVMA search, and the paddock map need a connection when you use them.
Is there a web version?
Yes — sign in at app.farmrecords.au. It mirrors your farm data for office review, reports, and updates from a desktop browser. All web features require an internet connection.
What farm records does the app track?
Storage for grain, hay, chemical, and fertiliser; spray records with withholding period dates; customers and grain or hay contracts; paddock harvest totals; equipment maintenance and pre-starts; farm tasks; and team access with role-based permissions.
What is the difference between Standard and Team?
Same features on both plans. Standard includes the farm owner plus up to 5 team members ($5.99/month). Team includes the owner plus up to 15 team members ($9.99/month). See pricing on the homepage.
Can I request a feature or enhancement?
Yes — we welcome feedback from farmers. Email [email protected] with what you need and how you would use it on the farm.
Will Farm Records keep getting new features?
Yes. Farm Records is actively developed for Australian farms. We pack in practical record-keeping where it fits and prioritise improvements from user feedback — contact support to suggest what would help your operation.
Who is Farm Records for?
Australian farm owners and teams who want day-to-day record-keeping — storage tracking, spray and withholding period records, contract allocations, paddock harvest, and equipment maintenance — in one app instead of separate tools.
