Roadmap

What's coming soon

Farm Records is actively developed for Australian farms. We keep packing practical record-keeping into one subscription — storage, spray, maintenance, contracts, and more — so you are not paying for a shelf of separate apps that do not share the same data.

Priorities can shift from farmer feedback. Email[email protected] if something on your operation should be on this list.

Farm map and field records

Planned

Google Maps satellite view

Fresher satellite imagery on the farm map. Paddock boundaries you draw today are stored on our server and will carry over — we are exploring Google Maps as an updated map view alongside the boundaries and pins you already use.

Planned

Photos on tasks, faults, equipment, and locations

Attach photos to farm tasks, equipment faults, maintenance assets, and storage locations — useful proof in the paddock and a clearer record back at the office.

Records and inventory

Planned

Fertiliser spreading and sowing records

Application records linked to your fertiliser storage — rate, paddock, product, and date — similar in spirit to spray records. Fertiliser stock-in and balances exist today; spreading records are the next step.

Planned

Parts inventory and order list

Part record-keeping, quantities on hand, and an order list — building on the parts you already log when recording a service. The exact workflow is still being designed; the goal is practical parts tracking without a separate system.

Team and farm awareness

Planned

Push notifications

Phone alerts for service due, overdue tasks, team invites, and other farm events — extending the in-app notifications Farm Records already shows today.

Planned

Team chat and @mentions

In-app messaging for your farm organisation, with @mentions so the right person gets pulled into a job or question without leaving Farm Records.

Planned

Weather forecast at the farm

A 7–14 day weather outlook for your farm location — read-only context on the home screen or map when you are planning work.

Planned

Rainfall gauge logging

Log manual rain gauge readings by date and millimetres, with a year-to-date view — a simple rainfall record without needing a weather station integration for v1.
